Colorful Multi-Cultural St. Pete Wedding

From the owner, Michael Scott Novilla:

I enjoyed meeting and working with Judy and Casey, a sweet, smart, fun couple from Gainesville; their families originating in Vietnam and Ireland. Two lovely countries, with long, complex histories, full of unique customs, delicious foods, and proud cultures. I’ve been lucky enough to visit both, most recently spending 90 days in Vietnam, and find their romantic match-up, perfectly delightful! Bamboo garden wedding ceremony with draped arbor at NOVA 535They added their own flavor and personalities into NOVA 535, creating a warm, welcoming, fabulous multi-cultural St. Pete wedding ceremony and reception! I’m honored for their trust in Team NOVA 535! So let’s raise our glasses and toast to their health and happiness, with a hearty Cheers, Sláinte and Một hai ba dzô!!

Metallic Industrial-Chic St. Pete Wedding

From the owner of NOVA 535, Michael S. Novilla

“I’ve added the term Industrial-chic to my vocabulary, a sexier way to describe our intended NOVA 535 construction design elements. Bricks, steel, hardwood, wrought-iron, and ribbed glass; all are industrial, and yet also, what we referred to as timeless. Timeless elements. Like cool, hip, sexy and fun. A perfect way to describe our delightful clients Tom and Brittany, to whom I was most grateful for entrusting Team NOVA to deliver our promised 5-star experience for their Industrial-Chic St. Pete Wedding. Congratulations, you both look fantastic, enjoy your married life together! St. Pete wedding couple portrait at NOVA 535

Vintage Gray and Blue Downtown St. Pete Wedding

From owner Michael S. Novilla:

Christian and Amanda’s unique vintage gray and blue wedding, love and respect for the historic 1920’s period from which our 535 building was constructed warms our bellies. Saving 535 from the filthy doggie daycare and spending 3 difficult years planning, designing and meticulously renovating 535, into NOVA 535, was so worth it. Worth it so creative, grateful, fun people like Amanda and hubby Christian could enjoy our space as their own. We’re honored and delighted to have shared our home with them for their lovely vintage gray and blue themed wedding. Congratulations!

How to Create a Hyperlocal St. Pete Wedding

Stressing. Sweating. Stitching. Crying. Yelling. Freaking out. Ah, wedding planning. The epitome of … romance? It doesn’t have to be this way. Shhhh, there, there. We’re here to help. Although some couples still aim for an all-out giant celebration love fest with all the fixins (which is totally cool – who doesn’t love a good party?), wedding trends these days lean more toward intimacy and simplicity. The general wedding population is getting a little greener in product selection, a little leaner in budgeting and is prioritizing originality and customization over bells and whistles. More than local, it’s become Hyperlocal. choose venue NOVA 535 Unique Event Space for your hyperlocal St. Pete wedding
