Carolina Blue and Peach Downtown St. Pete Summer Wedding
Mare’t and Zach’s downtown St. Pete destination wedding was thoughtfully planned to be a memorable evening spent out-of-town friends and family.
“We currently live in Jacksonville, Florida, but I grew up in Tampa and have always loved the Bay Area! It just seemed like the perfect place for our wedding,” the bride shared.
Summertime weddings in Tampa Bay can be extra warm for those attending outdoor celebrations which is why the versatility of NOVA 535’s indoor and outdoor spaces keeps guests comfortable during all seasons.
“Our wedding was taken place at the hottest party of the summer, July, so we knew we wanted a venue that was beautiful indoors since that is where the majority of the guests would stay,” Mare’t shared. “NOVA 535 was such a great, open-canvas that allowed us to play with everything from seating and spacious dance floor to great lighting! The duel staircase with our names on the beautiful brick made for a classy-vibe but also felt so relaxed. We loved it!”
The NOVA 535 Experience:
To accommodate their wedding of 140 guests, the bride and groom chose a reception layout with round tables surrounding NOVA’s Brazilian hardwood dance floor. The sweetheart table was romantically backlit by industrial string lights hung against the exposed brick wall and complemented by soft uplighting tying the couple’s blue theme.
Mare’t and Zach chose the romantic bamboo outdoor courtyard to serve as the backdrop for their wedding portraits. The tall and exotic bamboo garden that lines the brick courtyard with dramatic lighting made it the ideal spot for their sparkler ceremony exit.
“Everything about NOVA 535 was easy. The moment we walked into the beautiful courtyard to the open dance floor, we knew we found our venue,” the bride gushed. “The management took care of us so well and ensured that we were stress-free on the day of our wedding. They even provided the DJ (DJ Jaey) who our guests still brag about! He was great!”
