When searching for the name for our 9th consecutive Halloween party aka Novaween 9, here at downtown St. Pete venue NOVA 535, our thinking went something like this:

Nine. Hmm. Dante’s Inferno, 9 Levels of Hell. Hell = Hot. Hot = Inferno. Disco Inferno. Yes DISCO INFERNO!! And St. Pete’s Favorite Halloween Party Novaween 9 was so named.

So what could we add into the party equation to spice us an already wild, adults-only event? Krazy Skating Klowns? Beautiful Gogo Dancers featuring Mayven Missbehavin? Tarot Card reader Ani? Amazing Lyra girls hanging from the ceiling?

Improved Costume Contest? Wild Adults Only Disco Dance Party by the fabulous DJ ICH? Delicious food court by Murray’s Chicago Deli? Scary Photo booth by Get the Picture? Yes Yes and YES!! Plus all hosted by the Spellbinding Gypsy Allure.

That’s how we started the 9th annual Halloween Party here at downtown St. Pete, Florida historic venue NOVA 535. And from 9 pm when the doors opened, it was, wait for the (maybe not so hot Hell Pun), all downhill from there!! Costumed freaks and Disco Dancers were lined up and ready to party. Novaween 9 was Heaven AND HELL on Earth! Certainly there were photos, including those of Lou, that we just cannot share here. Wow what a wild one Novaween 9 was. Scorching HOT!

Of course any great party consists of the venue AND the people involved. We are lucky that so many people, some as far away as France, come to Novaween each year, bringing their great spirits and excitement – all for the soul purpose of celebrating with their family of fellow freaks and fiends.
