This stunning bride and groom, Lauren and Nick, understood the importance of lighting to help set a romantic mood for their Modern Black, White and Metallic Wedding Ceremony. Luckily, NOVA 535 in Downtown St. Pete, Florida has a state of the art lighting system built into our historic building. This aspect adds even more enchantment to the upscale feel of the venue and allows guests to truly focus on the magical elements of the ceremony and wedding reception.

Modern Downtown St. Pete Wedding

Lauren and Nick incorporated modern elements and romantic lighting for their modern downtown St. Pete wedding.

“I chose black, white and metallics colors because I wanted a classic look and something neutral for photos,” the bride explained.

The bride and groom created an intimate atmosphere with dramatic lighting, including a string light backdrop and candlelit aisle.

“The ceremony was very important to us, as well as making our guests feel as if we were not only celebrating our wedding, but the institution of marriage,” Lauren shared. “[I wanted to make our wedding] as personal and meaningful to us as possible. I was heavily focused on our guests being able to see us for who we are and celebrate our love for each other.”

The unique architecture of our downtown St. Pete wedding venue complemented the couple’s modern metallic theme.

“We chose NOVA 535 because of the beautiful warehouse feel and floor-to-ceiling brick walls. We loved the bamboo garden and that it was close to downtown St. Pete,” the bride gushed. “They are also experts in what they do.”
