From owner, Michael Scott Novilla:
What I love about our NOVA clients, is their range of “wants and wishes”, as team member Melissa Nguyen always puts it. Some clients want all the “bells and whistles” others want to create a fun, relaxed vibe so they can enjoy precious time with their loved ones. What’s great about NOVA 535 is that we can, because of the forethought and extra efforts from the beginning, easily please our clients; no matter what end of the spectrum they desire. We really enjoyed creating the atmosphere that perfectly suited our lovely couple Alec and Natalie. Which always makes me smile, because that’s exactly why we built NOVA 535, so Natalie and Alec could have it how THEY wanted to, withOUT all the potential extra stress and headaches they may have found elsewhere. They told us what they wanted and team NOVA made it happen. Yea!! CONGRATS to our beautiful newlyweds bride Natalie and her hubby Alec!! (PS. I LOVE THIS PHOTO!!)
Minimalist Industrial Downtown St. Pete Wedding
Natalie and Alec’s industrial downtown St. Pete wedding featured a casual vibe that is the epitome of their host city.
“We both love St. Pete for the restaurants, bars, and cool places to go to. We wanted to keep the wedding like a party. Fun, easy-going, simple, and pretty,” the bride explained. “I didn’t care about the dress, decorations, etc. I just wanted to be able to enjoy and dance with my family. And have a taco! It was a party, not a ‘wedding.'”
The bride and groom searched an all-inclusive wedding venue that would provide a relaxed, party-like atmosphere for their guests and keep the stress minimal.
“I actually went to a NOVA 535 wedding a few years ago and loved it! We loved the brick walls and the cocktail hour upstairs,” Natalie beamed. “We wanted a fun venue where we could dance and have a good time, and NOVA definitely had enough dancing space. We didn’t need to get any ventures besides the food truck. I gave the on-site planner, Ruby, the look of the flowers, etc and she made it happen.”
The string light ceremony backdrop was the perfect showstopper to highlight the brick walls they loved so much.
The couple had such a blast at their wedding that favorite memories included celebrating all night long.
“Our most memorable moments included dancing with glow sticks with our family and friends, letting loose, giving a drink, and laughing. I knew at if my feet hurt by the end of the night from dancing, that I did something right,” the bride reminisced.
