From Owner Michael S Novilla:
Kim and Alan have such a romantic story; they had their first date on Valentine’s Day, complementing their personal love story. It’s always a pleasure to have clients that are obviously in love, intelligently build a great team and work together to create their “perfectly unique vision” of their wedding ceremony and reception. Congratulations to the Alan and Kim, you all did it masterfully. I hope your every day together reminds you both of your magical Valentine’s Day inspired wedding!
A Rose Gold Valentine’s Day Inspired Wedding
Kim and Alan decided to have their downtown St. Pete wedding at historic, modernized venue NOVA 535 after falling in love with the event venue. Their wedding took place the night before Valentine’s day so their valentine’s day inspired wedding was inspired by the iconic day of love and romance.
“Valentine’s Day was our first actual date together eight years ago. Alan said he wouldn’t ever forget our anniversary so I agreed,” Kim explained.
The pair wanted a modern St. Petersburg wedding venue, with a unique style, that could host both an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception.
“We loved the whole space at NOVA 535 and how well it lent itself to our wedding day timeline,” Kim gushed. “Ruby, the coordinator did a great job of understanding my vision and understanding my needs.”
The Tampa Bay couple’s rose gold, light pink and navy palette created a soft and modern look for their St. Pete wedding. The intimate and romantic outdoor, nighttime valentine’s day inspired wedding ceremony was filled with romance.
“The ceremony did a great job of giving everyone an idea of who we are as a couple and we have been complimented over and over on how romantic and special it was from friends and family that attended,” the bride shared.
The Proposal:
I am a huge Harry Potter fan, so Alan, my now husband, arranged a trip for us to the new theme park at Universal Studios in Orlando. It was our 7 year anniversary and he proposed right outside of the train station by a huge fountain. It couldn’t have been more perfect for us.
What did you look for in a wedding venue?
We wanted something that was modern looking and different from some of the weddings we have been to.
We loved the whole space and how well it lent itself to our wedding day timeline. We wanted a venue that we could do the ceremony and reception at, and NOVA 535 really fit the bill. Ruby, the coordinator did a great job of understanding my vision and understanding my needs. She certainly helped realize in such a beautiful way, our valentine’s day inspired wedding.
