On a beautiful “winter” evening here in sunny Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, aka DTSP, business partners Susan Pilon and Melissa Converse, founders of Viewpoint Wealth Management, hosted a delightful cocktail party for clients and close friends. Viewpoint Wealth Management is part of the Raymond James financial family, and this shinny apple hasn’t fallen far from that strong, deep rooted tree. Susan and Melissa are the warm, engaging kind of people that also really know their stuff. Guess that’s why they chose my historic event venue NOVA 535 for their 1st anniversary party. Ha! See what I did there? Congratulations on your first year, ladies!! Bravo! It was a night filled with laughter, new connections, success stories and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Viewpoint on Thursday, February 2, 2017…

As Susan and Melissa hosted their guests, everyone enjoyed the musical entertainment provided by one of our favorite musicians, the handsome, always fabulous Ken Apperson. Ken played a wide range of songs and hits throughout the night, including taking on the daring Bee Gees “Staying Alive” which he killed. Another wonderful night Ken, thanks so much. Tonight’s catering menu was provided by our pal Murray of Murray’s Chicago Deli. The word deli may throw you, but don’t let it, as Murray’s range of delicious catering is enormous. And always unique, fresh and so tasty! We enjoyed Portobello Goat Cheese Flat Breads, Beef tenderloin Sliders, Chicken Quesadillas, Caprese Skewers and Bruschetta Flat Breads. So so yummy!!
