Our 2016 December Open House couldn’t have come fast enough this month. After such a great success for Novaween, I just couldn’t have been more excited than I was for the upcoming Nova Noel and the fabulous night of live music and good company to hold me over in between. This month, however, things ran a little differently!… and I liked it.
Aside from the always gorgeous venue that I simply cannot get enough of, I was excited to see an abundance of new and happy faces that appeared to be just as eager as I was to have a great night on a Tuesday. We typically have a trickling in of couples and small groups who are looking to see the five-star venue in person, enjoy some personal tours given by one of our top-notch team members, and listen to the band as a potential music option for their upcoming wedding or event. All great reasons to visit our 2016 December Open House!
But this time we had a few faces that I could tell were there to take advantage of the free entry to a great night where they could enjoy a free drink they received upon checking into social media on their arrival, enter into our contest to win a free bottle of wine, and receive free dance lessons from yours truly. (Okay, maybe that last part wasn’t true… but I think my moves are pretty world class and bystanders are lucky to get a taste!) As I got to know each of our guests more, I was able to quickly confirm that we did, in fact, have a pretty great crowd for this event and I was all kinds of excited to enjoy their company and snap some good photos.
Among our fabulous guests, we were happy to have our very own Tampa Bay Lightning goalie, Ben Bishop, and his beautiful fiancé, Andrea, in for a visit! Ben and Andrea were able to grab a great spot in Nova’s gorgeous loft area where they could enjoy the funky tunes from the Bay Kings Band in a more private setting. We’re all big Lightning fans at Nova so we were happy to see him and have the both of them enjoy the night with us! We sure hope they choose Nova for their wedding!
The night was an overall success, per usual, and was so much fun for everyone. We had some dancers get up out of their seats each time the band played one of their favorite songs, and we certainly had some friendly faces and good energy in general. In the end, a very sweet couple won their free bottle of wine in our free (yes, again, FREE!) raffle. It was a joy to see the joy on their faces when their names were called! That is what Nova ultimately strives for, after all.
Visit Nova535.com for more information, photos, and opportunity to set up your very own private tour of the unique 5 start venue for your private event or wedding! And please, don’t forget to come to see yours truly at one of our fabulous public events… I’ll even throw in a quick dance move or two! On the house, of course. 😉
