What Would You Rather Be Doing?
How Pioneers are Born

People seldom set out to be pioneers—it’s only after they’ve answered their calling that they are labeled as such. Community advocate and gallery owner Carla Bristol implores us to find the pull of our passions and ask ourselves, as she did, “why not?”

Join us this Friday, October 20th at NOVA 535. Tickets are free, but pre-registration is required. Tell a friend, bring a friend—everyone is welcome!

Hosted at NOVA 535
535 Dr M.L.K. Jr St North
This event will be hosted at NOVA 535. Doors open at 8:30am or earlier, and pre-registration is required. Street parking is available along MLK but it can be scarce, so carpool, bike, walk, or take public transportation if you can. Do NOT park in the lot across the street.

Eats & Drinks
We’ll have hot Kahwa coffee service from NOVA 535, plus an assortment of yummy baked goods thanks to the generosity of Tangible Labs. If you’re bringing your own favorite coffee to the event, we ask that you pretty please bring it in a reusable cup to help us continue to meet our zero waste event goals. Thanks for helping us stay green!

Zero Waste & BYOM
Our events strive to be zero waste, which means that 10% or less of our waste goes to the landfill. We refuse, reduce, and reuse to meet that goal and we need your help! Please Bring Your Own Mug, find person-powered ways to get to the event, and limit or eliminate the waste you bring in and dispose of at our events. Thank you for all you do to keep us green!

YIKES, THAT SUCKS // Why Compassion without Action is Bullshit
