On October 24th OUTCOAST hosted its 2017 Stories of Pride kickoff event at the historic DTSP venue NOVA 535, in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg. The event brought together LGBTQ organizations from around the region to celebrate those making a difference in the local community and to raise funds for the LGBTQ center in Puerto Rico. Nearly $1,000 was raised that evening.CJ and Kevyn Robinson (of Kevyn R Salon) posed for photos with the event organizer.
Event sponsors included NOVA 535, Heather Stotts with Century 21, CJ with Keller Williams, Kurt Hoenig with United Realty, Christye Ozog with Donovan Home Sales, Inc., Creative Capital Wealth Management, GALA, HSN, and Perfect Copy and Print.
Food trucks were on site in the courtyard to feed hungry guests and Pom Pom’s Teahouse and Sandwicheria and Punky’s Bar & Grill provided tasty appetizers.
The evening celebrated several community leaders, including Claire Eli with Project No Labels, Ashley Brundage with TD Bank, Shakira Refos with HER, SueZie and Cheryl Hawkes, and many more.
